Service Learning has been the focus of the December morning project cycle at OPS. Students have been involved in numerous opportunities to share service not only within the walls of the OPS community but in the Ashland community and globally as well.
Projects include: helping out at the Ashland elementary school; volunteering at the Chequamegon Humane Society; volunteering at the Bargain Hut and Senior Center; running a bake sale and raising money for OPS field trip transportation; collecting food for The Brick; raising money for an animal for a family with Heifer International; writing "love" letters to past teachers; and, sharing holiday greeting cards with Ashland residents.
