Charter Planning Grant for Grades 6-8

Planning for a 6-8 project based, multiage, teacher led middle school has begun! In August 2013 Ashland received a $250,000 planning grant to fund the planning and opening of a school in Fall of 2014. Funds will be used to support staff time for development, training, travel, technology, and curriculum for opening. Leon Filipczak was hired in August as coordinator of the middle school planning grant using the grant funds. He was also hired as library specialist at Ashland Middle School.
